Minimum Qualifcation And Criteria

Age limit

Should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

Educational Qualification

Candidate must have passed with 50% HSC/CBSE/ISCE (10+2) in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany and Zoology and English individually.

Duration of the course

UG Program (3 years + 1 year Internship)

Deposit of Certificates:

Verification or original certificates will be made at the time of admission. The candidates provisionally selected for admission will have to deposit all required original certificates with the FAHS Office.

Change of Name / Date of Birth:

The name of the candidate will be registered in the records of the University as given in the U. G. Degree / Mark Statement / Provisional Certificate and the Date of Birth as per HSC / Transfer Certificate only. No request will be considered later in regard to change of date of birth or correction in the spelling of the name of the candidate. The candidates are requested to verify and confirm these entries in the relevant certificates.

Payment Of Tuition And Other Fees:

Every student shall pay tuition fee and other fee, as prescribed by University, within the due date notified from time to time. The annual fee prescribed will be the same for entire duration of the course. Non-compliance, if any, will be dealt with as per University rules.

Fees

I  Tution Fee First Semester = 50,000 

Registration Fee   =  10,000

First year Books+ labcoats+2 sets of Uniform = 10,000

Refundable caution deposit = 5000

II Second Semester Fee = 50,000

III, IV, Vand VI each semester Fee = 60,000

Discontinuance from Course of Study after the Cut-Off Date for Admission:

Where any student applies for discontinuance, or without any application discontinues on his/her own, from the course to which he/she has been admitted to, for any reason, either after the cut-off date prescribed by the statutory authorities for admission to the first year to the course concerned or where the seat is rendered vacant without having any chance of being filled up with any other candidate from waiting list etc., such students will have to remit the tuition fee and other applicable fees for the ‘entire/remaining course period’. Unless and until payment of all the prescribed fees for the entire/remaining course period is made to the University account, such student shall not be entitled to any certificate including transfer certificates, mark sheets etc., to be issued by the University and to get back his/her original certificated deposited with the University at the time of admission.

Merit based Admission statement or reservations

Merit based scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the Marks obtained in the senior secondary examination (In class Xll of 10+2 pattern or equivalent)” for students from the economically challenged families to pursue higher studies in MAHER

Application along with prospectus can be obtained on payment of Rs 750/- made through Demand Draft drawn in favour of   The Registrar, “Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research” payable at Chennai. The form can be obtained in person/ through post/ may be downloaded from the University website. If the form is downloaded, the completed form must be accompanied by the D.D. as per above instruction.

Last date for submission of Application:

FAHS UG application form is expected to be released online by MAHER on its official website. Candidates looking to apply for the admission will have to register themselves first on the official website of MAHER, FAHS admission 2021 in order to access the application forms. To complete the registration process, candidates will have to provide a valid email ID and mobile number. The system will generate an ‘application ID’ for each candidate. They can set their own passwords during the registration process. Using these credentials, candidates will be able to fill the concern program application form online. 

Completed application should be submitted by on line or by post July 31, 2021.

Admissions  will start from first week of July 2021

Admissions will be closed February 2022

 ANTI RAGGING POLICY

Disciplinary Rules and Anti-Ragging Regulations of AHSPC as per UGC norms.

On admission to the course candidates will be governed by the disciplinary rules of the university, hostel rules and AHSP & UGC Anti-Ragging regulations for which necessary undertaking should be executed by them at the time admission     

Anti- Ragging

Any form of ragging on or off campus is prohibited and will not be tolerated. To prevent issues like ragging and any    other grievances that women face, MAHER has commenced the following committees.

  1. The Anti Ragging Committee and Anti Ragging Squad that ensure protection to new students against any physical or psychological harassment
  2. The Discipline and Welfare Committee that ensures the welfare of students by encouraging them to follow rules and regulations set by organization
  3. The Complaints and Redressal Committee, which addresses to the complaints from the students

Dress Regulations:

Students are expected to dress modestly in salwar suits / trousers & shirts avoiding short, flimsy and tight clothes. Strict disciplinary action will be taken if dress code is violated.

Mobile Phones:

Mobile Phones should NOT be used on campus. Violation will incur suspension from classes.
